NEP 2020 mandates all ECCE institutions must recruit teachers specially trained in the curriculum and pedagogy of ECCE. Teachers with 10+2 shall complete a 6-month ECCE certificate. This program directly fulfils that national requirement.
"Anganwadi workers/teachers with qualifications of 10+2 and above shall be given a 6-month certificate programme in ECCE. These programmes may be run through digital or distance mode allowing teachers to acquire ECCE qualifications with minimal disruption."
